NOTE: Priscilla is the daughter of Jacob Braswell & Nancy Cotton. (See 1763 Jacob Braswell Bible Records on this site) She married an unknown Newsom who apparently died young and left her with 2 young sons. She has been incorrectly identified as the common law wife of Jacob Johnson of Decatur & Randolph Counties Georgia.
