William Bracewell deceased in the 1728 deed is the son of Richard the 1st and Sarah his wife. He died before both of their wills, therefore is not mentioned in them. He is often misreported as the son of Robert Bracewell Jr & Susannah Burgess, a myth started by old timers who neglected to read Susannah's 1732 probate record, which proves that her son William was alive and swearing oath as her "executor therein named" in the Isle of Wight County Virginia Court. See Susannah Burgess Braswell's 1714 Will and probate record.
