Know all men by these presents that we John Farr & Samuel Braswell are held and firmly bound unto their honors the Judges of the court of Ordinary for said County and their successors in office in the just & full sum of twenty five hundred Dollars for the payment of which sum to the said Judges & their successors we bind ourselves our heirs executors & administrators in the whole & for the whole sum jointly & severally, and firmly by these presents sealed with our seals and dated this fifteenth day of September Eighteen hundred & twenty three. The condition of the above obligation is such that if the above bound John Farr administrator of the goods chattles & credits of Daniel Farr late of this County deceased do make a true and perfect inventory of all and Singular the goods Chattles & Credits of said deceased which have or shall come to the hands possessions or knowledge of the said John Farr or into the hands or possessions of any other person or persons for him and the same so made do enhati- (?) into the said Court of Ordinary when he shall be thereunto required and such goods Chattles and Credits do well & truly administer according to law and do make a just and true account of his actings and goings therein when he shall be thereunto required by the Court of Ordinary for said County & all the rest of the goods Chattles & Credits which shall be Found remaining upon the account of said administration the same being first allowed of by the Court shall deliver and pay to such person or persons respectively or as entitled to the same by law & if it shall hereafter appear that any last will & testament was made by the deceased and be provided before the court & the executors obtain a certificate of the probate thereof & the said (blank space) do in such case if required render and deliver up the said Letters of administration then this obligation to be void else to remain in Full Force Signed Sealed and acknowledged in open Court.

1826 - March 16, Derrell Braswell & Mary Porterfield were married by Baptist minister Luke Robinson.
1827 – This Indenture made this Eighteenth day of January eighteen hundred and twenty seven between SAMUEL BRASWELL of the state of Georgia and County of Newton of the one part and JACOB DELK of the state aforesaid & County of Gwinnett of the other part. Witnesseth that the sd SAMUEL BRASWELL Senr. For and in consideration of the sum of four Hundred dollars to him in hand paid by the said JACOB DELK at and before the sealing & delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath this day granted bargained sell and convey unto the said JACOB DELK his heirs and assigns all that fraction lot or parcel of land containing forty six acres more or less situate lying and being in the fourth district formerly Walton but now Newton County which sd fraction or tract of land is known in the plan of sd dist. by No. 286 having such shape form & marks as appears by a plat of the same beginning on hightower path on a plat & running N 30 W 17 C 60 to a P.O.P. thence S 60 W to the corner of JESSE LYONS fence on said fraction thence along said fence including the same to the hightower path thence along sd path to the beginning. To have and to Hold the said fraction of lot unto him the said JACOB DELK his heirs and assigns together with all and singular the rights members and appertainances thereof to the same in anywise belonging to his and their own proper use benefit & like of forever in fee simple & the said SAMUEL BRASWELL for himself his heirs & assigns the aforesaid tract or parcel of land unto the sd JACOB DELK his heirs and assigns will warrant & forever defend against themselves the said SAMUEL BRASWELL hath hereunto set his hand and seal the day & year above written. Newton County} {425} This Indenture made this fifteenth day of June One thousand Eight hundred and twenty eight between Samuel Braswell of the County and state aforesaid of the one part & his Daughter Permelia W Braswell of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Samuel Braswell for and In consideration of the natural love & regard which he has and bears for his Daughter Permelia have this day Made and executed this deed of trust to Concord Braswell safe gard of the County and state aforesaid. I the said Samuel Braswell for & In Consideration of the Natural love and affection Which I have and bear to my daughter Permelia and also for divers other good causes and Consideration Me the said Samuel Braswell Moreover given granted and Confirmed and by these Presents do give grant and confirm My Daughter Permelia a certain Negro girl by the name of Mary Eight years old To Have and to hold & Enjoy unto her the said Permelia and her heirs Executors & Administrators & assigns forever & the said Samuel Braswell all and singular the said personal Estate unto the said daughter Permelia his heirs executors Administrators & assigns against Me My executors administrators & assigns and all and every other person or persons the right and title to same negro Mary Will Warrant and forever defend By these Presents And Me the said Samuel Braswell for the Consideration above stated have put my daughter Permelia In full possession of said Negro Mary by delivering at the time of sealing and delivering these Presents In witness I have here unto set my hand and affixed my Seal In the day and year above Written
