Jams Bryant to Wm Brasswell Acknowledgemt of a Patent for 640 Acres of Land on ye No Side Catawatskee Meadows. Know all men by these presents yt I Jams Bryant & Sarah my wife Do Assign over our whole Right title & Interest of this within written Patent to Wm Braswell he his Heirs or Assigns for ever as witness our hands ys 23d day of June 1715.

Know all men by these presents yt I Sarah Bryant do Constitute & Appoint my trusty & well beloved friend Jno Dew for me & in my behalf to Relinquish Dowry of 640 Acres of Land to Wm Brasswell & 150 acres of Land to Valentine Brasswell in as firm & absolute manner as if I My Self were in person prsent as Witness my hand this 22d day of June 1715.

NOTE: This William Braswell is the son of Richard Braswell I and Sarah (Valentine) and he died in Chowan Co., NC in 1721 and is NOT the son of Susannah Burgess Braswell. Her son William was alive and well in Isle of Wight Co., VA, probating her will in 1732 by swearing oath that he was the "Executor therein named" in her 1714 Isle of Wight Co., VA will.
