What's it like up there?

With the massive snowpack in the Sierra this year, the big question on everyone's mind is: Where can we go hiking now that summer is here? And the bad news is that there aren't a lot of good answers. But as we were on the phone today with the very nice people in the El Dorado National Forest, they mentioned a website where all their volunteers post the latest info:

It's pretty good info, and updated very regularly.

The bad news? There is still a ton of snow up there.
