Looking for one of our own

We are regular participants in the High Sierra Topix forums, where we have met many really good people who love backpacking in the Sierra. And one of those people, a very regular contributor to those boards, went missing last October as he hiked in the Sierra. Despite a major search effort, no trace of Larry was ever found.

Several High Sierra Topox members and some of Larry's friends from SoCal are now organizing a search at the end of July to see if they can bring some closure to his family. If you'd like to take part in this effort, you can learn more about it here:

P is speaking at a conference in Florida during those dates, so we will not be able to take part of this operation, but we will be there in spirit!
