The news out of Arizona was all good. While many hikers were wandering around and enjoying the trails and views in Bear Canyon outside of Tucson, the rain clouds were pounding the mountains up above.
Down came the rain, and up rose the water in the creek. It could have been a real disaster, but cell phones and very competent SAR teams made sure that everyone made it out unharmed.
