SmartFade ML Color Effects
The color effects feature allows you to continuously run some or all of the fixtures through a series of several different predetermined patterns of colors. Page 52 (attached) explains the 11 built in patterns of colors.
Assuming the patterns have already been initialized (explained later), all you need to do is to bring up the desired (left, center, right or full, for example) fixtures in full white. Next press DEVICE SELECT, ACTIVE SELECT, EFFECTS, COLOR, then press, on the upper left, any button 1 thought 11 to start the effect running. Press button 12 to stop the effect, then CLEAR SELECT, that is all there is to it.
To initialize the first time: Press EDIT EFFECT, COLOR, button number 1 on the left top, turn wheel 3 (rightmost) until number 1 appears on the right LED screen, press EDIT EFFECT. Repeat for numbers 2 though 11. Save the show so effects will not need to be initialized again. Page 77 (attached) explains some options, such as speed, that can modify an effect.
If you save a scene into a memory location while an effect is running, the number of the effect is saved also. If you run that scene then the effect will become active. Note that if you edit an effect, it will change all recorded memories that use that effect.
