Everglades has a single console with the sound mixer, 4 wireless receivers, cd player, monitor amplifier, Bluetooth receiver
and storage of the wireless microphones as shown in these images.
Because of unauthorized use of the lightboard which was previously on it, has been removed from the console and placed on its own cart.
The lightboard cart is now only available to authorized users.
The console can be on stage right or at the rear of the house (below left).
Details of console cable connections (below right).
Details of rear of house wall cable connections.
SOUND
Mixer console is 16 channel.
Installed with 4 new [500 mhz] wireless microphones receivers.
These receivers stay powered on even when the console is turned off.
To connect any input device like laptop or phone or tablet you will need a 1/8 inch male to male cable connection to the Denon CD player.
Recently a second Bluetooth receiver has been installed, just below the wireless receivers. (Marked in Red in next image). Pairing when Bluetooth has been somewhat problematic. What seems to work dependably is:
1) Power OFF the Bluetooth receiver
2) Put your phone (or other device) in pairing mode (usually on the Bluetooth screen).
3) Power ON the Bluetooth receiver.
4) Press the Pair button on the receiver.
5) Accept the pairing request on the phone. (It has been device DN-300-BR last time I checked.)
This was done because the bluetooth range on the CD Denon was too limited. It's output connected to the mixer slider to the right of the CD's slider.
If you require additional wireless microphones you will need to plug them into stage apron.
There is no access to inputs of mixer from rear of unit.
All 4 wireless hand held microphones live in the top drawer under audio mixer.
Body microphones live in av closet.
The wireless microphones are color coded and match the color of faders for channels 1,2,3 and 4 of the mixer.
7 hard wired hand held microphones live in lower drawer.
LIGHTING
The Lightboard is a QuickQ10.
See the Everglades Lighting page for details.
HOUSE LIGHTS
The house lights are not controlled by the lightboard but there is an easy to program
control panel on the wall near the main entrance doors.
