Mix Wizard Special Effects Controls

This is a very simplified guide to the vertical of row knobs, switches and buttons on the upper right side of the Mix Wizard. The lower 6 Aux knobs (in the green box on the left side of this page) control the volume of the signal to the Aux send jacks. The upper 4 Aux knobs (in the red box) control the volume of the special effects output to the Aux send jacks. Aux 5 and Aux 6 are not present because the special effects input is from Aux 5 (and, in DUAL mode, Aux 5 & 6).The ST5/fx LEV knob (pointed to by the blue arrow) controls the volume of the special effects output to the main LR mix. Its range is off to +6dB. At the normal 3 o'clock position, the output volume is the same as the input volume. The ST5/fx MUTE switch (pointed to by the green and yellow arrows) when set to MUTE, mutes all special effects output. The SINGLE / DUAL FX switch (pointed to by the back arrow) controls the mode. Leave switch in SINGLE FX for simplified operation. The SEL button selects one of special effects (to be simulated) listed under Factory Presets Single. When the red lamp next to the Bank button is off, the selection is effects 1 through 8. When the lamp is on, the selection is effects 9 through 16.
