Preliminary, there are additional changes expected.
Ezell has a console with the lightboard, sound mixer, 2 wireless receivers, media player, Bluetooth receiver,
monitor amplifier, and storage of the wireless microphones as shown in these images.
Because of unauthorized use of the lightboard, it has been removed from the console and placed on its own cart.
The lightboard cart is now only available to authorized users.
The console can be on stage left or at the rear of the house.
SOUND
Mixer console is 16 channel.
Installed with 2 new [500 mhz] wireless microphones receivers.
These receivers stay powered on even when the console is turned off.
To connect any input device like laptop or phone or tablet you will need a 1/8 inch male to male cable
connection to the Denon media player.
It also will play CDs and can take input from a USB stick. Be sure you check that it can read the format of your CD or USB stick.
Using the Bluetooth receiver is likely the best way to input music into the system.
Pairing when Bluetooth has been somewhat problematic. What seems to work dependably is:
1) Power OFF the Bluetooth receiver
2) Put your phone (or other device) in pairing mode (usually on the Bluetooth screen).
3) Power ON the Bluetooth receiver.
4) Press the Pair button on the receiver.
5) Accept the pairing request on the phone. (It has been device DN-300-BR last time I checked.)
If you require additional wireless microphones you will need to plug them into the stage apron.
There is no access to inputs of the mixer from the rear of the unit.
Both wireless handheld microphones live in the top drawer under the audio mixer.
Body microphones are also stored there
The wireless microphones are color-coded and are noted on the mixer channels.
There is a Talk-Back jack on the front of the console that accepts an XLR microphone. Its channel is marked on the console.
The amplifier at the bottom of the rack is for the monitor speakers. Usually, leave it powered off unless using the monitor speakers.
