This cable connects the mixer's output to the house amplifier. 

The adapter is a double female xlr adapter. The output end of the mixer is an xlr male, designed to accept the female end of an xlr cable

The 1/8" plug and cable for connection to a resident's sound source (PC or phone) connects to the TAPE INPUT source which feeds the main speakers only. If you desire to feed the monitor speakers you'll need to supply your own cable and plug it into one of the microphone jacks.

The volume control for the monitor speakers is at the top of the mixer labeled MONITOR VOLUME. See red arrow in next image.
