Contraction Timer

My beautiful wife is soon to have twins! This is of course very scarey. Giving birth is especially scarey and doubly scarey for twins.

The most part of labour are contractions, so I'm told, and it's important to keep a track of them.

The following OpenOffice.org Calc spreadsheet keeps a track of contractions and produces graphs that may help.

Hopefully it will help my wife keep track of her pregnancy and figure out when to go to hospital.

Download Contraction Timer v0.5

Requires OpenOffice.org v2.0 or higher.

Please enable macros.

Details

When a contraction begins, just click the Begin button. When a contraction ends, just click the End button.

The times are automatically filled in, allowing you to concentrate on more important things (like getting ready to go!).

A graph is automatically displayed, showing how frequent the contractions are occurring. This graph automatically plots the last 10 contractions.

You can also enter in times manually if you forget a contraction.

Disclaimer

Please be aware that when using the Contraction Timer spreadsheet, you do so at your own risk. There are no guarantees so make sure you keep track of the contraction times yourself.

Bugs

Version 0.5

    1. It take a few seconds after clicking "begin" or "end" before the time is filled in. The macro needs to be optimised to reduce this time lag.

    2. The line on the graph disappears sometimes.

If you can help squish these bugs (or you find more bugs) please help!

I welcome feedback for this macro. Please leave feedback at the OpenOffice.org Forum
