Rev. Drew Hause M.D.

Dr. Drew graduated from the U. of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine in 1978 and is a General Internist and Sports Medicine specialist. He was in private practice in Kansas City for many years prior to joining the faculty of the U. of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine in 1995 - 2002.

He was licensed to preach the Gospel by Grace Baptist Church in Gardner, KS in 1999 and ordained by New Horizons Missionary Baptist Church, K.C., Kansas in 2001. He attended Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary focusing on Missiology and has served churches as Missions Pastor and Teaching Pastor.

Andy Mathis (Gideon from Gardner, KS) and Rev. Gary McQuaid (San Antonio, now with the Father) participated in our first trip to Marcala, Honduras in 2000, and were an Aaron and Hur (Exodus 17:12) to Dr. Drew and our ministry.

Beth Jones Hause M.D.

Dr. Beth graduated from the U. of Kansas School of Medicine in 1983 and is also a General Internist. She was in private practice for 10 years and then worked for the Social Security Administration for 7 years.

Dr. Drew and Dr. Beth moved to the Phoenix area from Kansas City in 2004.

Betty Lemus Batres

Betty grew up in Guatemala and since 1985 has lived in the L.A. area. She has been commissioned as an evangelist by Rehoboth Christian Church and serves as trip coordinator and evangelist. Since October 2009, the Batres family in Casillas and her sister Hanny in Las Vistas has hosted the team. Members of Rehoboth Church, including her daughter Lesli, have also participated in trips.

Rudy has been the President of the Gideon Camp in Nueva Santa Rosa and coordinates the Bible and Food Distributions

We met Dr. Mario Armas and Dr. Shenny Armas on our 2nd trip to Amberes in 2003 and the Armas family graciously hosted the teams and organized the medical clinics in churches around Nueva Santa Rosa until 2011. We have continued to support their ministry and church.

Gaby Molina

Gaby lives in Nueva Santa Rosa and has been part of teams since 2006. She was a school teacher and is now a lawyer investigating child abuse and neglect in the Department (State) of Santa Rosa. She has assisted with clinic evangelism, Gideon Bible Distribution, Sports Evangelism in Casillas, and is now coordinating our ministry efforts in Aldea de Chupadero.
