Lesson:
Ze Baddest Sickness & Global Warning
"Sin speaks to the wicked man in his heart. He has no fear of or respect for God. He thinks too much of himself. He doesn't see his sin and hate it. His words are wicked lies. He is no longer wise or good. At night he makes evil plans. What he does leads to nothing good. He doesn't refuse things that are evil. Lord, your love reaches to the heavens. Your loyalty goes to the skies. Your goodness is as high as the mountains. Your justice is as deep as the great ocean. Lord, you protect both men and animals. God, your love is so precious! You protect people as a bird protects her young under her wings. They eat the rich food in your house. You let them drink from your river of pleasure. You are the giver of life. Your light lets us enjoy life. Continue to love those who know you. And continue to do good to those who are good. Don't let proud people attack me. Don't let the wicked force me away. Those who do evil have been defeated. They are overwhelmed; they cannot do evil any longer."
Psalm 36
Key Themes:

Do owls have ears?
What is a baby owl called?
How do owls sleep?
Watch the video to learn more about God's magnificent bird, the OWL.
Once you have listened to me read the book, you are ready to complete your Owl Lifecycle.
Owl Craft and Activities
The Lifecycle of the Owl
Gather the worksheet, some coloured pencils (no textas), scissors and glue.
Do your best work.
Carefully colour the 4 pictures. Try and use colours that owls actually are. Remember to sit up nice and tall with your feet under the desk or table and hold your pencil the correct way. 😀
Ask an adult the cut just above the line to separate the top part of the worksheet from the pictures.
Now carefully cut loosely around each picture.
Next step is to work out the correct order - what happens first, second and so on.
I haven't placed my pictures in the correct order. I want you to try on your own.
Ask an adult to check then glue them onto the page working from left to right.
Owl Babies Puppets
Colour your 3 Owl Babies using coloured pencils, textas or water colour paints.
When dry cut them out and attach a pop stick to each. Now your owl babies can tell the story, do a dance or make up a play!
Owl Mask
Colour the owl mask using coloured pencils, textas, crayons or watercolours.
If you have some feathers at home, you may like to add some to the top part of your mask.
Ask an adult to cut out the eye pieces and then add elastic.
You are now an Owl. Where will you fly? What will you eat? Do you have a special name?
