God is sovereign and in control of all things. The Lord is gracious, kind and loving.
He hears His children when they cry to Him.
God is faithful; He always remembers His promises.
In this lesson we begin with Hannah feeling very sad because she had no children and other women teased her about that. In her sadness she prayed to God when she visited the tabernacle. In her prayer she promised to give any child she had to the work of God. God answered Hannah's prayer and He gifted her with a son who was named Samuel. When Samuel was a boy he went to live at the tabernacle with Eli the priest and there learned more about God. Every year Hannah would go to visit Samuel and take him some new clothes she had made for him. One night God called to Samuel. He had a message for Eli and God used Samuel to share the message. God often spoke to Samuel after that. God was making Samuel His prophet. When Samuel grew up God used him to speak messages from God to the Israelite people.

Listen to this story of a very, not so clever, Dingo.
Colour in the writing 'WOMBAT STEW' and the feet of the billy.
The Australian animals in the story suggested various ingredients. Add each of these into the billy. For big blops of billabong mud you might use brown paint or glue on some brown dirt. Don't forget to check that you have included everything, but NOT that nice wombat!
Listen to this lovely story of a Koala who always does her best.
