Storytime from Space
You will need a tool to do the scratch back.
I used a toothpick for the smaller planets and the stripes and the side of a wooden peg for the larger planets.
Cover the desk/table where you will be working as the black gets quite messy. I kept shaking and gently wiping the black bits into a bin as I scratched!
You will need a steady hand.
Enjoy making your sparkly Solar System.
When the sun and planets are all revealed you can make some patterns if you wish.
I did a pattern around the sun.
You can take a few days to complete this artwork if your hand becomes tired.
You can also scratch back the rings, or lines, to add more silver to your art.
I've started to do a few.
Have fun!
Name Rocket Craft
Write or trace each letter from your name onto a coloured square.
Carefully cut out each square and the triangle nose cone.
Place your rocket pieces onto the black card in the correct order with the nose cone at the top.
Glue each square one at a time making sure each square 'kisses' the one above so there are no black gaps.
Count the number of letters in your name then write or trace this number on the BLAST OFF paper:
My name is ___rocket blocks long.
Glue this piece to the bottom of your craft.
