When getting to know your mentee it is useful to encourage and raise aspirations. Mentees may often express they are not clever and are not capable to completing assessments to a high standard or even reach Higher Education. Each person will have a preferred learning style or approach to a situation. Multiple Intelligences will allow mentees to see their own preferences and recognise their own intelligence
