Changing your way of thinking is important for having a positive attitude. If you find your mentee is constantly being negative about trying new things or changing the way they do things, show this to them and see how many phrases they can pick from the 'Can't' column as something they say. See if you can persuade them to be more positive by showing them a more positive responses in the 'Can' column. This could help them to be more confident and believe in themselves.
