Year 10 GCSE Media students have been learning about cinematography for the very first time. Using the fantasy TV show His Dark Materials, the class were introduced to the concepts of camera shots, angles and movements.

Getting into the mind of a director, the students are busy analysing how the show is constructed through the lense and the importance of how cinematography brings moving image to life!

It's that time of the year. KS5 Media students are now entering a crucial period in their BTEC journey, utilising all of their course content and practice question knowledge to begin revising for exams in January for Year 13. 

Our Year 13 BTEC class have just received their Unit 8 brief, where over the course of six hours they will need to show skills as a Media commissioner and pitch an idea for a promotional video or print design.
