Unity Club Hosts Fantastic Film Afternoon: A Showing of "Nimona"!
The Unity Club successfully hosted a fun film afternoon on Tuesday 16th December, as a festive treat. This provided a great opportunity for students to relax and connect after school.
From 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM, the screening room was busy with students who came to watch the animated film, Nimona. ‘A knight is framed for a crime he didn't commit, and the only person who can help him prove his innocence is Nimona, a shape-shifting teen who might also be a monster he's sworn to kill.’ Students found the film both funny and at times heartwarming. They also enjoyed the added bonus of free biscuits!
The event was organised by the Unity Club with the goal of fostering community. A special thank you to Year 13 student Isla Kelly, who created the posters to advertise and organised the permission slips to allow students to attend this event.
