Ms Hudson - Teacher of Personal and Professional Skills
Our Year 12 IBCP students recently demonstrated outstanding career-based learning skills as they completed their Personal and Professional Skills (PPS) group projects.
Working as simulated education consultants, student groups were tasked with designing authentic curriculum units for the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP). This demanding project required students to conduct in-depth research, collaborate effectively, and develop innovative MYP curriculum designs tailored to various learning areas.
The presentations, delivered to a panel of staff and peers, showcased the students' deep understanding of curriculum theory and their ability to translate complex research into practical, engaging educational blueprints. This experience provided invaluable preparation, bridging their academic studies with real-world professional consultancy and solidifying their readiness for future career paths.
