It was fantastic to see so many families at our Post 16 Open Evening in November.  We have revised our Post 16 offer recently, to ensure that there really is something for everyone.  If you did attend, we hope you found the evening informative and if you weren't able to join us, you can find more information on our website. After a very close call, Miss Grant's wishes were answered and Attenborough College voted to watch Krampus at their Christmas film morning.  The film was followed by hot chocolate and biscuits and a chance for students to enjoy some festive music. 

We were lucky enough to be able to host a talk by Alistair Thomas from the Bank of England. Our Maths and Business students were able to learn more about what the Bank of England does, roles within the bank and how the bank's decisions affect the country's economics. It was a brilliantly insightful and interactive session which really helped students consolidate their in class learning. 

This year we have another exceptional group of young people applying to university.  Miss Grant has been working hard behind the scenes to make sure everyone's applications are ready to be sent off and their references reflect all the hard work our Year 13 students have been putting in to achieve the grades they need to take the next step in their career. 

Welcome to Huddle! 

Huddle is Attenborough's modular meet up, where Post 16 students are invited to stay after school for one afternoon and join in a fun activity with the Attenborough team. This module we held a board games cafe, with students joining in game of Crib, Uno, Chess amongst others, whilst enjoying some hot drinks and snacks. 

All Post 16 students are welcome and we would love to hear any suggestions you have for future Huddle events.

We really went all out with the festivities this year and were lucky enough to be able to host a session with the UCA. The Christmas card design workshop was a huge hit with Attenborough students and we hope to host more creative events with the UCA in the future.
