The design starts with observation of different verandas as it blurs the boundaries between inside and outside. As I have marked existing verandas from different clusters and then arranged them in the way that they can interact with each other and create a sense of space that gives privacy and openness as the veranda creates a boundary, As we enter, the main veranda welcomes us, and it is connected with the office and healthcare. As it starts with the existing cluster , room entrances and verandas are placed to fit the cluster's natural layout. Rooms come in different sizes to fit different needs, including rooms for 24 people and rooms for caretakers. The veranda at the village serves as a vibrant community hub, hosting various activities such as socializing and relaxation. Inspired by this, it incorporates the veranda with a seating area, carefully positioned doors, and a layout that balances privacy with openness. This enables elderly individuals to rest and unwind without disturbing others while also fostering a sense of community and connection among occupants. It also features common areas, in addition to the library and dining spaces. These areas are open, welcoming spaces for village people to gather and socialize, as well as multi-functional areas for various activities and events. Both spaces are connected to a veranda, providing a seamless transition between the veranda and outdoor areas.
