Students at Sand Creek High School are preparing for Thanksgiving. Students were asked about their favorite Thanksgiving foods and their Thanksgiving traditions.
Students were surveyed and asked whether they preferred ham or turkey. 54% of Sand Creek students preferred turkey for Thanksgiving.
11th grader Kynsie Dull says her favorite Thanksgiving food is “stuffing.” Kynsie says her Thanksgiving family tradition is going to “ 4 Thanksgivings.” Kynsie says she does this because she has a lot of “separated family.”
11th grader Kayla Meszaros says her favorite “Thanksgiving food is Green Bean Casserole or Cheesy Potatoes.” Kayla prefers to eat turkey instead of ham during Thanksgiving. Kayla says she has no family traditions during Thanksgiving.
7th grader Treyden Disbrow says he prefers turkey instead of ham. Treyden’s favorite Thanksgiving food is pumpkin pie and he enjoys his Thanksgiving tradition of “watching the Lion’s game with his family.”
Everyone has different family traditions that make Thanksgiving special. This holiday is a time to express how thankful you are for the things you have.
