Girls Basketball Is Underway

As the basketball season starts, about 18-20 girls are expected to be on the team. The varsity coaches are Mike Zyla (head coach), Madison Serin (assistant coach), and Rich Gallatin (assistant coach). The JV coaches are Andrea Goricki (head coach) and Zachary Zyla (assistant coach). 

Head Coach Zyla looks forward most to coaching and working with all the new girls on the team. He thinks the team will do well this year. “We are young," Zyla states. There are two juniors and one senior on the team. “We are going to play fast, we are going to play hard," says coach Zyla.

Zyla hopes the team will accomplish improvement from one day to day two. “Hopefully by mid-season, we round it into form and be a team to be reckoned with when we play teams down the league," Zyla proclaimed. 

The team this year will have a lot of fun and some girls will experience new things. They will all have a good positive culture when they are out on the court playing or practicing.  They have a strong team and are willing to fight for a win. Their first game is on December 3 away at Pittsford. Go be loud and proud for our lady Aggies. Go Aggies!!!
