Thank You from PYAC 2025
Thank you so much to all the students, teachers, and staff for helping us put on our first Picture Yourself at CPMA (CPMA) Day this past Monday.
Together, CPMA hosted over 300 elementary students from Sequoia, Hawthorne, Whitman, Lafayette, and Oak Park elementary schools. The event’s goal was to show what it’s like to be a CPMA Artist for a day and to encourage more of our visitors to become Future CPMA Students.
During the day, visiting students got a chance to see art and hear jazz in the library, watch a dance and choir show in the black box theatre, and experience a rehearsal of our amazing Alice in Wonderland musical.
Also, a big thank you to our students in ASB and YLP who helped as student ambassadors; they did an excellent job leading groups and helping our visitors navigate the campus.
Next year, we look forward to PYAC 2026!
The month of May is a time for celebrating students, especially 8th-grade students on May 28th for Promotion! The CAAF wants to help CPMA families recognize their students during this time with a CPMA "PROUD OF MY 8TH GRADE GRAD" yard sign!
Stake it into grass or a flower pot with an "H" wire stand or just hang it on the wall with double-sided tape or velcro! The sign size is 18x24 inches printed in full color, and is durable, waterproof, and weatherproof. The sign can make for a wonderful addition to any celebration decor and a keepsake too. CLICK HERE to view and order your sign. The cost of the sign with a stand is $15 and a sign without a stand is $12.
The CAAF Board is planning events. Send an email to info@thecaaf.org if you own, work with, or know of a school-friendly business that wants to get involved and support The CAAF and arts at CPMA.

As we welcome the new year, we are grateful for our community's incredible support and dedication. Thanks to your generosity, The Conrad Avenue Arts Foundation has provided faculty supervision and supper for up to 277 students who stay after school to perform as part of the 2024-2025 Production Season.
A total of 21 performances/exhibitions remain until the end of the school year resulting in more students being fed. Help us fill the gap. To learn more or help support this campaign, visit bit.ly/3ZQplkZ.
Here are some other ways to support The CAAF work benefiting CPMA:
Participate in RaiseRight, a year-round gift card and online shopping fundraising platform where stores pay The CAAF a commission for each purchase. Visit https://www.raiseright.com/enroll/SZRKKG9HUDX3 to learn more.
The CAAF board is seeking help creating a business sponsorship program and assembling a team of individuals to set up The CAAFe for season performances. If you are interested and want to share your smile and talents with us, email dsilvagarcia@sandi.net.
Together we can build a brighter future for CPMA students. Thank you for becoming an essential part of The CAAF's growth and journey.
