Bullying Prevention and Reporting

We encourage our students to be up-standers and if they "See Something, Say Something" to reduce bullying on our campus. We investigate all instances of bullying that are reported to our school site. Hello CPMA Families,

The CPMA staff would like to thank all the families that supported our students this week at our Grade Level Semester 1 Awards Ceremony and our Visual Art Show Through Our Eyes. It was so great to see smiling families and students as they learned about the rich learning experiences students engaged in during 1st Semester.

We will continue to focus on our Core Values with our students via our Leader In Me Curriculum during Homeroom each week. The Leader in Me curriculum focuses on Stephen Covey's 7 Habits of Highly Effective teens.

We will be trying out the Districts Breakfast in the Classroom Program starting February 26th for approximatley 3 weeks. This will give us an idea if we want to commit to this program for all of our students for the year next year. It provides a sit down FREE balanced breakfast for all students every day. Students that have full bellys will be better prepared to learn. If you have any questions please email Mr. Page at dpage@sandi.net.

Reminder that there is No School Friday February 16th and Monday February 19th. Students will return to school Tuesday February 20th.

Hello CPMA Families,

Happy Black History Month!

As classrooms and school districts across the nation kick off their Black History Month celebrations, let us remember the urgency and importance of teaching Black history beyond the month of February (SDUSD Equity and Belonging Team). The voices, lives, and history of our Black students and families are valued and this is why at CPMA we are partnering with SDSCPA and the Ethnic Studies department to pilot new Arts Integrated courses in our history department which will bring light to relevant stories and experiences for our students. Watch "Black History is American History" by Okalani Dawkins

We look forward to celebrating many of our students this week for our Semester 1 Awards Assembly has on Thursday, February 8th.
