Athletes that meet CPMA's Student Success Criteria by the P3 Progress Report are eligible to tryout. Spots on teams are limited. We ask families to strongly consider if their student can commit to the entire season's practice 2x a week and 2x games played every Saturday at SDUSD high schools. VAPA after school rehearsals often conflict with sports practices and priority will be placed on our dedication to arts programming. We will prioritize spots on CPMA Teams for students that can make the commitment AND those who may not have the opportunity to play with outside organizations.
Tryout Details:
Students that meet CPMA's Student Success Criteria and whose parent/guardian has completed the district registration will receive a green pass to line up at the PE gate for tryouts after school on (see dates below). Students must be on time to check in at 2:41pm to be admitted into the tryout area. Locker rooms will not be available; please plan accordingly. Tryouts will end at 4:30pm with late buses departing at 4:35pm. Students being picked up will wait at the main entrance in front of school. Students taking late bus are expected to wait in the bus loading area with Dr. Gordon or Mr. Page after the tryout sessions end.
