MSA Winter Sports 

We are proud to announce that all of our teams made it to playoffs this weekend. 

• Girls Volleyball will play at 9am in the Scripps Ranch HS Gym

• Girls Soccer will play at 8am at Logan Memorial Educational Complex- LMEC 

• Boys Soccer will play at 1:00p at Logan Memorial Educational Complex- LMEC

Students are expected to prioritize rehearsals over athletic practices. 

Rehearsals are Tuesday and Thursdays 2:36p-4:30pm and late buses are provided.

ELPAC Testing 

English Language Proficiency Assessments for California: Our English Learning Students will begin ELPAC testing on February 10. The window closes March 28, but testing will likely be complete the first week of March. Please reach out to Kerry Gahan at kgahan@sandi.net with any questions. 

Our school garden is under way! 

The 6th graders have designed a charming row of cactus and succulent pots along our shed, adding a touch of greenery to our space. 

• Meanwhile, the 7th graders have transformed two of our raised beds into stunning rock and plant masterpieces, using large cacti and succulents. 

• Thanks to our newly funded DonorsChoose project, we now have the supplies needed to bring our vision to life. Soon, our 6th and 7th-grade science students will begin planting a crop of mixed greens, ensuring we wrap up the year with fresh, homegrown salads!

We encourage our students to be up-standers and if they "See Something, Say Something" to reduce bullying on our campus. We investigate all instances of bullying that are reported to our school site. The Conrad Avenue Arts Foundation 

As we welcome the new year, we are grateful for our community's incredible support and dedication. Thanks to your generosity, The Conrad Avenue Arts Foundation has provided faculty supervision and supper for up to 277 students who stay after school to perform as part of the 2024-2025 Production Season. 

A total of 21 performances/exhibitions remain until the end of the school year resulting in more students being fed. Help us fill the gap. To learn more or help support this campaign, visit bit.ly/3ZQplkZ.

Here are some other ways to support The CAAF work benefiting CPMA:

Planning is underway for the 8th Grade East Coast Trip! Stay up to date with all the details at the ECT website. 

CPMA Student Success Criteria & Extracurricular Eligibility

In order to participate in extra-curricular activities, special events, field trips, and MSA sports, students must meet CPMA's Student Success Criteria each grading period (See Grading Period Dates and Recovery Options). The next Progress Report (P2) on 11/01/24 determines eligibility for participation in Winter activities from 11/04 - 12/20. To sign up for an Eligibility Support Plan (ESP) please email your grade level counselor (Ms. Tropila 6th ltropila@sandi.net, Ms. Clark 7th aclark3@sandi.net, Mr. Veenstra gveenstra@sandi.net, or Resource Teacher Ms. Celedon gceledon@sandi.net.)

• Tardies (6 or less)
