I Am Poem
I am different and I am happy.I wonder about my family.I hear birds.I see Eli’s house.I want food.I am different and I am happy. I pretend to be funny.I feel stubborn.I touch my Mom.I worry my Mom will leave me to go on a trip.I cry when my Mom leaves.I am different and I am happy.I understand rules.I say my family loves me.I dream about my family.I try my best.I hope I can do things myself.I am different and I am happy.
I AM From” Poem
I am from Italy and from Saco, MaineI am from the house on Blake Ave. number 14My house makes me feel happyI am from the tree in my front yardThe tree in my front yard whose long gone limbs I remember as if they were my own.
I’m from playing games and blue eyesPlaying games from Mommy and Daddy and blues from DaddyI’m from fuzzy kisses, and nice kisses, rough kisses.
I’m from eating dinner and talking at dinner timeAnd Sweet CarolineI’m from putting up a Christmas TreeI’m from the Children’s Hospital in Portland and Italy and hamburgersFrom my brother Noah who wrote a story about me to share with my friends at schoolIt was called My Sister Samantha and it took a long time and we made it into a book It makes me smile to look at the picture of us eating watermelon I love the picture of the flowers and the picture of me and Noah playing at Meema’s in the play kitchen.

Tribute to My FamilyWritten by Sami Woodcock
I am writing a tribute about my whole family. They are my family and I need my family to have good parents, a good brother, and good dog. My family is made up of me Sami, my Mom Carrie, my Dad Jon, my brother Noah, and my dog Fenway. My family lives in Saco, Maine on Blake Ave.
My Mom is my girl, that means that she is my mommy and we are both girls and she is my girl because we are the only girls in the family. Fenway is a girl but she is dog and she cannot talk, that would be silly, so Mom is my only girl. Mom watches Wheel of Fortune with me and always eat M&M’s for dessert.
My Daddy is my Mom’s husband that means he married her and kissed the bride. Daddy helps Noah with his projects. I like to play hide and seek with Daddy. I also like to talk to Daddy about his day in gym. Every night at dinner I ask Daddy “Daddy what did you do in gym?” Also every morning before I go to school and after Daddy has gone to work I call him. I like to talk to my Daddy.
Mr. Noah is my brother and he does not like to get up and can be a bit freaky in the morning. One of Noah’s chores in the house is to take out the recycling. Sometimes he watches me at home when Mommy and Daddy are not home. He does a good job watching his little sister. Noah is my hero because he is my brother and he looks out for me.
Fenway is my beautiful puppy. She wags her tail a lot and she plays catch with me. Sometimes we walk around the neighborhood. My favorite thing to do with Fenway is give her treats after dinner and cuddle.
My name is Sami and I am also a part of my family. I am 12 years old and I am the youngest in the family, well besides Fenway. In this family I am a sister and a daughter. I like to talk a lot too, sometimes I compete with my brother.
This is my family, I love them, they make me happy and they will always be my family.
