Leading Lines

I am calling this project, Lines because of the lines the ski tracks made and the lines over the photo. The subject is a landscape based off of the old barn in a field near my house where people ski. I chose to create this specific work because I wanted to try something new with my images. I was originally going to use a different composition but I didn't really like it very much. I used a variety of techniques including layering when creating this photo. I paid close attention to the spacing between the lines and did that by eye until it looked even. I wanted my photo to look different and I did that by adding the lines over the photo. This also added interest to my composition. I like the way the lines look over the photo and am proud of the idea. However, I struggled with getting the lines to look good and how I wanted them to look. If I create another photo like this I may make the lines thinner to show more of the original photo and I will probably go back and edit this photo, but it won't look much different than this one. My work shows that I can incorporate leading lines into my concentration.
