CHRISMAS

My image’s subject is Lily waxing her skis, I took this shot in the waxing room of aur barn with the school's camara canon EOS rebel.

The image have a different range of values going from dark to light, with a lot of different wood textures that, at the same time give unity. Lily’s blurry hands give the idea of movement. It’s an informal balance because Lily ocupantes all the right side, living an empty left side, there are also a lot of leading lines that bring your attention to Lilly (wood in the background).

I cropped part of the picture in the dark room, and I like how now it have a border inside the picture(wood top and bottom).

This is an image that, as I said, I took when we were waxing, waxing is a long process that takes a lot of patience and makes you love your skis, it's also a moment that I love to spend with my host siblings because we put music and joke around while we prepare for the race.

If I had to change something I would probably let the image develop for longer crating a low key lighting.
