Designing a Balsa Wood Tower

 In this project, students will have the opportunity to design and construct a tower made of Balsa wood . The challenge is to incorporate trusses, which are triangular structures that add strength while keeping the tower lightweight. To start, students will sketch three unique truss designs, focusing on symmetry and creativity. The designs must also follow specific guidelines, including using no more than 13 members in their construction. 

This tutorial demonstrates the process of creating a final drawing for a structure design using graph paper, emphasizing the importance of neatness and accurate measurements. Students will learn to use marking dots, connecting lines, while ensuring symmetry, resulting in a precise drawing of the intended construction.
