Make your script!

To record a newscast you will need a script to read from.  If you were to take the time to make-up and write a script there would not be enough time to record it.  Because of this, we are going to use the actual news that is available to us everyday on the internet.

 You will copy current news stories for your newscast, and paste them into a Google document.

***Normally copying things for school work is plagiarism (Cheating!) Because you are not claiming credit for the news stories or trying to make money from your broadcast, this will be considered an acceptable use of available resources that you have been instructed to use.

Step 1- Create  a document for your script in google Docs. 

Step 2 -Label your script with you and your partner's name and Period Number

Step 3 -Share the doc with your partner and your teacher. 

 Click on the ‘Share’ button in the upper right hand corner of the window and then click in the box that says ‘add people’.
