Activity 2

Before you can record anything you need to listen to an example of what you are going to be doing. Follow the directions for navigating to the “Podcast” student demo recording.

 As you listen to the recording pay attention to the types of news, sports, & weather that the students are reporting. 

Listen to how long each section is and pay attention to how they transition from one section to another.

You may notice that the students made up their own commercials for imaginary things. Hopefully you will get the chance to be creative and have fun while creating your recording. We’ll learn more about making your script in the following activities.

Step 1- Read all of the following directions before you start!

    You will need to answer the questions on the form after you have listened to both 'podcast'. examples.

• When you are done filling out the form, you must click the “submit” button at the bottom of the form twice! 

  • If you don’t, you will lose all your work!!!
