Record a virtual tour of GMS!
Record a virtual tour of GMS!
For this activity, you will be using ‘WeVideo' to make a video of your ‘school tour.' You will need to add music and a voice over [your voice telling us what we are seeing in the background] to your video tour of the school. You will also be saving this video to a smaller file size that you will email to your teacher.
First-watch his video to learn how to use the OSMO Pocket 3 video camera:
The video introduces the DJI Pocket 3, a small handheld camera with a special sensor and a gimbal that helps keep video steady while filming. Students are encouraged to use this camera to create a smooth video tour of their school, capturing important areas like the library and cafeteria without disturbing classes.
Step 1- Ask your teacher for permission to film and photograph the school
After your teacher says yes, assemble your materials
Step 2- Shoot your video.
You will need to take a still photo -or- 5 to 10 seconds of video of each of the following places in GMS:
Front entryway to GMS (Lobby)
The Gym (film through the windows or ask permission to enter the class, do not disturb them)
The Cafeteria
The Library/Media Center
The outside doors for Guidance and the Nurse's office (do not go in or record people)
The Lockers and the pod for your grade
