At this module you and a partner will be learning how to use software that will allow you to create your own radio show! You will be creating your own script and reading it so take your time and make sure that you find a story that will be fun to read.
If you complete all the following activities you will be able to share your final recording with whomever you would like, and upload it to your ipod, or phone. (This is called 'Podcasting')
1. Empowered Learner (ISTE Standard 1):Students leverage technology to take an active role in choosing, achieving, and demonstrating competency in their learning goals.
The assignment allows students to choose their own podcast topics, fostering ownership and engagement in their learning process.
2. Creative Communicator (ISTE Standard 6): Students communicate clearly and express themselves creatively for a variety of purposes using the platforms, tools, styles, formats, and digital media appropriate to their goals.
In creating and producing their podcasts, students express their ideas creatively through scripting and audio editing, enhancing their communication skills.
3. Knowledge Constructor (ISTE Standard 3):Students critically curate a variety of resources using digital tools to construct knowledge.
Students conduct research to gather information for their podcasts, synthesizing credible sources to create informative and engaging content.
