Activity 1

At this module you will learn about the way that we use sound and music to communicate using technology. The most common form of electronic audio communications would be radio broadcasts.

After completing this module you will have recorded your own voice and some music. This pretend broadcast will be exactly like a professional broadcast that you would hear on the radio, but you will be able to take it home to show off.

Your first task is to watch an interview with a local radio D.J. (disk jockey) in which she discusses various aspects of her job and how she got her start.

    You will need to answer the questions on the form after you have watched the video. The video will open in a new tab, go ahead and watch the video. After the video is finished, play it again and fill in the answers to the form while listening to the video while it is playing in the other tab.
