This activity will introduce you to the idea of ‘web-based’ photography editing. Similar to Google apps, we are using the internet instead of a program on your computer. There are numerous different 'apps' that will allow you to do this for free, whereas a copy of photoshop can cost $700!
An added benefit of using Google Drive is that you will have access to your pictures at home, on vacation, at school, anywhere there's an internet connection! Cool.
-This will put the picture onto the computer that you are working on.
3. Click on 'download' button and download your picture.
Step 1- Your teacher will take your picture
Your teacher will come around and take your picture so that you will be able to work on it, try to smile and look happy.
Step 2- Download your pictures
It is very useful to keep this page open (in your first 'tab') so that you can read and re-read the directions as many times as you need to. Ask your teacher to show you how to open up your Google drive in a new tab.
It is VERY difficult to complete this assignment unless you carefully keep track of which step you are on! You WILL need to read these directions more than once.
Try to do all your reading in one tab, and all of your work in a different tab. This is a simple little thing that will make completing this assignment much easier!
