Brighton Marathon

26.2 miles running around the sights & sounds of Brighton, and along the sea shore, cheered on by big, enthusiastic crowds, the Brighton Marathon is thought by some to be the No. 2 Marathon in the UK, and enjoyed by all as lots of fun. First run in 2010, the race now sees around 12,000 runners, start the course at Preston Park, and take a route past some of the main sights of central Brighton, including the Royal Pavilion, before heading East towards Rottingdean, then doubling back along the sea shore, passing the i360 out west to Hove, before returning on the seafront and finishing on Madeira Drive, just past the Brighton Pier. The finish line is usually just at the bottom of our road.
