September 2024
🌟 Welcome to the 2024-2025 School Year at Edison Career and Technology High School!
At Edison Tech, we’re not just preparing students for graduation—we’re equipping them for life. This year, we continue our mission of blending rigorous academics with real-world, hands-on experience through our four dynamic career pathways: Construction/Architecture and Design, Engineering and Manufacturing, Digital Media, and P-Tech.
Our unique linked learning approach ties academic coursework to technical training and work-based experiences, giving students the tools and knowledge they need to succeed in high-demand, rewarding careers. Whether it’s through internships, workplace visits, or mentoring opportunities, Edison Tech students gain invaluable experience at every grade level.
Graduates leave with industry credentials, college credits, and, for our P-Tech students, a two-year degree at no charge—all in addition to their Edison diploma. Alongside academics, we offer a full range of extracurriculars like sports, music, and clubs to ensure students get a well-rounded education.
Let's make this year our best yet! Welcome back, Edison Tech family! 💪📚🔧

📚 The First Few Days📚
Edison Career & Technology High School!
As the new school year kicked off, the halls of Edison Tech buzzed with excitement, nerves, and the sounds of students reconnecting and navigating their way to classes. With our expansive building and bustling corridors, the first days can be a challenge to newcomers—but it’s a challenge our students rose to meet!
Freshmen adjusted to the busy halls, finding their way to core subjects, electives, and Career Tech Ed Intro Programs. Fortunately, they had a little help from our senior class, who jumped in to guide them through those first tricky steps. Sophomores, refreshed from summer, felt a bit more at ease, remembering the ins and outs of their schedules and routines from last year. Juniors were greeted by our School Safety staff, who encouraged them to stay focused and make their way to class as they eagerly caught up with friends.
As for our seniors, it was a day filled with nostalgia—a final “first day” to savor as they prepare for the next steps into trades, careers, or college. The first few days are just a taste of the year ahead, and we couldn’t be prouder of the Edison students who’ve started it off strong!
