We would like to announce the hiring of two of our Edison students from Mr. Yapjoco's Electrical Construction Class. These students will be on a paid Co-Op work experience at a local construction site. The students will go through the companies safety training program, and particpate in onsite work activites. They will have a chance to show off their skills an learn new ones as they build their careers with Tambe Electric Incorporated.

Edison was proud to give a tour and discuss work based learning opportunities with Rochester Works. They were able to see all of our outstanding CTE programs and meet with staff to discuss future plans for Edison students. We at Edison look forward to this partnership and the oppurtunities for our students.

Edison students from our Construction program were able to take a field trip to visit ITEC Training & Education Ceter. Here students were able to see post secondary training options that would allow them to enter into the industry at an advanced stage. The students were able to meet instructors and students as they toured the facility. Students thourghly enjoyed the visit and our excited for the oppurutity to join the ITEC training center program

Final planning has been completed for this exciting oppurtuinty that is being hosted here at Edison Tech. In conjuction with REOC the Edison campus will be hosting a Automotive Technology Program for adults. Attendees will learn basic vehicle maintenice and repair. Job placement oppurtunities will also be availble from our partner West Hurr Ford. We look forward to hosting this exciting program at Edison and encourage those interesed to sign up.
