October Breast Cancer Awareness
October 25th PINK Out Day @ Edison
💖 Edison Career & Technology High School Pink Out 💖Day – Honoring and Supporting Our Breast Cancer Fighters and Survivors
On Friday, October 25th, Edison Career & Technical High School teachers and staff came together for a powerful day of remembrance, support, and solidarity in our annual *Pink Out* event. It was a day dedicated to honoring the courage of those within our school and community who have bravely battled breast cancer, and to raising awareness for a cause close to so many hearts.
Dressed in pink, our teachers and staff gathered in the gymnasium, forming a giant heart symbol to capture our collective support in a memorable group photo. This formation represented the strength, resilience, and unity that defines our Edison family.
Following the photo, everyone participated in a heartfelt fundraiser for the *Rochester Breast Cancer Coalition*, where staff and teachers purchased pink ribbons to write personalized messages of hope and remembrance. Each ribbon was then tied to a stunning, large metal heart crafted by our own Welding and Machine Shop students, a lasting tribute that will be displayed on our school’s wall as a daily reminder of those who have fought so bravely.
Thank you to everyone who contributed, wore pink, and showed up to support this meaningful cause. Edison stands together in hope, strength, and remembrance. 💖 #EdisonPinkOut #EdisonStrong
