December 11th AMBA Mold Builder of the Year 2024 Endowment
Edison Machining Program Receives $5,000 Endowment from Accede Mold & Tool
Edison Career & Technical High School is thrilled to announce a significant boost to our Machining and Manufacturing programs! On November 7th, we proudly celebrated a $5,000 endowment from Accede Mold & Tool, a gift made possible through the American Mold Builders Association.
Our endowment ceremony was a memorable day, featuring:
Inspiring speeches from district officials and industry leaders.
A formal check presentation celebrating this generous contribution.
Tours of Edison’s Machining and Welding programs, showcasing our cutting-edge facilities and student talent.
The event was well-attended by:
District school officials and alumni presidents.
Representatives from Accede Mold, including President and Owner Roger Fox.
Local media, our in-school media team, friends, and family.
This $5,000 endowment reflects Accede Mold’s dedication to:
Supporting hands-on learning experiences in mold making and manufacturing.
Investing in the future of skilled professionals through education.
The funding comes as part of Roger Fox’s recognition as “Mold Builder of the Year,” with support from Progressive Components. Edison alum Camille Sackett will serve as the program liaison, ensuring this award directly benefits our students.

December 13th Students Visit Golisano Institute
On December 13th, Edison Tech students had the opportunity to visit the Golisano Institute for Business & Entrepreneurship. These motivated students took a break from their CTE classes to explore exciting post-secondary options focused on entrepreneurship and business.

December 19th Military Day At Edison
On Thursday, December 19th, representatives from the U.S. Navy, Army, Marines, and Air Force visited The Edison Career & Technology High School during 10th, 11th, and 12th-grade lunch periods.
Students had the chance to:
Learn about career paths in the military.
Ask questions directly to military professionals.
Discover the benefits and opportunities available in each branch.
Whether students were curious about military service, exploring career options, or seeking a new challenge, this is was a great opportunity to get firsthand information!
We encouraged all interested students to stop by the tables in the lunchroom and take advantage of this unique chance to engage with members of the armed forces.
December 20th Finger Lakes Youth Apprenticeship
We are proud to recognize seven outstanding Edison Career and Technology High School students for their acceptance into the prestigious Finger Lakes Youth Apprenticeship Program (FLYAP). Through hard work and dedication, these students have secured opportunities to gain real-world experience in high-demand industries, setting them on the path to career success.
