On February 18, NASA landed the new Perseverance Mars Rover on the Red Planet. The rover had been traveling to Mars for about six months and landed in the rocky terrain of Jezero Crater, where it will look for signs of life. Perseverance, or Percy for short, is the largest rover ever to land on Mars and will be the first one to collect samples of Martian rocks to send back to Earth.
