June is Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer Pride Month!

Pride Month is celebrated every June to honor the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in Manhattan. The purpose of this month is to recognize the impact that lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender individuals have had on our world. Pride Month is celebrated with parades, picnics, parties, workshops, talks, and concerts around the world.
