Secretary
Q: What is your name?
A: I'm Louisa Jayne.
Q: What position did you win?
A: I won the position of secretary.
Q: What grade are you in?
A: 9th grade.
Q: What are your goals, plans for the school?
A: My main goal is to make this school year the best for our class as possible, whether it's improvements around the school so everyone can have an equally efficient experience, or trips and dances. Since Covid-19, the school year has been a bit peculiar. One year was virtual for many, and the next was still very shaky. A lot of kids haven't been on a field trip in ages. While I know these things are not the main point of an education, they definitely make it easier, providing something to look forward to and general fun, community bonding. I want to be able to bring this back to our class, and to our school. With this ideal community bonding, we can also provide a variety of ways to continue to help make a difference. Fundraisers, and helping out not just the PSA community, but those around us as well, would be hugely important.
Q: How do you plan to accomplish them?
A: Listening to everyone is going to be essential for any position within the student council. The words of our class are extremely important, and, really, are the driving force behind our actions. It's also always very beneficial to gather other opinions on anything from major changes to a casual field trip, seeing as the more input we have, the better suited our decisions will be. Teamwork among our house council members will be essential; the more united we are, the better results we will achieve, and our entire production will flourish. Time management will also be huge. Getting things done efficiently and with clear communication, organization, and purpose will be necessary. Things take time, and the more time we have, the better we can plan out our ideas to make them as good as possible.
Q: Why did you decide to run?
A: I decided to run because I love this school, and I love the people here. It's a very unique environment, and is really valuable in a lot of ways. That is to say, a lot of things can be fixed, and I, and the rest of my 9th grade student council members, will be alert and attentive in trying to manage these sorts of things. I want to strengthen our class and the relationship between everyone, as well as see that we all have a fantastic school year.
