With the school year in full swing, it’s time to announce the 10th grade student council election winners!

President - Marisa Blunt

Q: What is your name?

A: My name is Marisa Blunt.

Q: What position did you win?

A: I ran for 10th Grade President.

Q: What grade are you in?

A: I'm in 10th Grade.

Q: What are your goals and plans for this school?

A: My goals are to continue PSA traditions, such as Homecoming, Prom, and our Class Trips. I also want to raise as much money for these events as possible so that more people have the opportunity to attend. For example, I want to start saving money for the Class of 2025 Senior Trip so that as many seniors as possible will have the opportunity to go.

Q: How do you plan to accomplish these goals?

A: All of these events require money, so all of the High School Student Council has been working very hard to raise as much money as possible so that we may be able to make these plans and create memorable High School experiences for all of PSA's students.

Q: Why did you decide to run?

A: I ran because I wanted to be able to help our grade.

A: I’m planning to work with the treasurer, the secretary, and the president, but especially the treasurer since it involves a lot of money. I’m hoping to get a general consensus about how much money we have, how much we’ve raised, and how much we need to raise to do the things we want to do.

Q: Why did you decide to run?

A: I decided to run because I noticed that a lot of people weren’t serious about being in student council, and not a lot was getting done. I really wanted to run because I wanted someone to be in charge who actually cares.
