Boba Fett Review

This is my review on the newest Star Wars show The Book of Boba Fett (Spoiler Warning). The show starts out directly after the Mandolorian. Boba Fett with his partner Fennec Shand kill Bib Fourtuna who took the place as Daimyo of Tatooine after Jabba the Hutt's death in The Return of the Jedi. Daimyo basically protects a certain area and rules over a town or city. In this case Boba Fett rules over the area of Mos Espa. Once he gets settled in he starts giving help to the needs of the citizens and he is also introduced to a bar that he protects and technically owns. Also throughout the season there is a backstory which basically explains how Boba Fett survived after being eaten by a Sarlacc.

To explain it without too much detail basically after managing to get out of the Sarlacc’s stomach he has his armor stolen by Jawas. After a while some Tusken Raiders find him and take him back to their camp. Once there they wake him up and make him find water balls in sand. They basically are serving the Tusken Raiders. When some Nikto gang riders try to kill them, Boba scares them away and saves the Tuskens. After that the Tuskens decide to take Boba in as one of their own. Over a couple days they trained him in the way of the Tusken. Then Boba trained them to use speeder bikes to intercept a Pyke Syndicate transport that shoots at the Tuskens but eventually they destroy the transport. Boba eventually completed a ritual and left the next day. However the Pykes said that they would pay the tribe but killed all the Tuskens in the tribe and framed it on a Nikto bike gang. After Boba kills them in a bar he finds Fennec Shand after bounty hunter Toro Calican shot her. Boba picks her up and takes her to a mod shop where the mods there replaced Fennec’s gut with a mechanical one. After waking up Boba teams up with her to steal his ship back from Jabbas palace. They successfully steal the ship back. After that they try to find Boba’s armor in the Sarlacc which he doesn’t find and almost gets his ship eaten. After that they helped the Mandolorian with helping get Grogu back after he got his armor back.

Sometime later he begins to become a true Daimyo of Tatooine. Fennec helps him with getting Gamorrean guards but then the Pyke syndicate threatens to take the planet. Boba Fett gathers his allies including: Krrsantan the Wookie Hunter, The Mandolorian, The citizens of Freetown, and the Mod teenagers. After a long struggle the Pykes leave and Boba Fett truly becomes Daimyo of Mos Espa.

There were two side “Mandolorian” Episodes which was basically cameos from the cgi Skywalker (updated) and Ashoka Tano who makes Grogu pick between Mando or the Jedi way. Grogu does actually help in the finale with a loose Rancor.

Overall the series was amazing and the cast mostly Ming-Na Wen and Temura Morrison who were the main characters and the cameos by Mark Hamill and Pedro Pascal. My only problem with the entire show is the cgi skywalker because it looks a little bit bad because the deepfake does a better job. Either way its still a good show
